Privacy policy
Last updated October 23, 2026
Oseyra is made by Hatch Media LLC, a Florida company ("we"). This policy explains what happens to your information when you use the Oseyra apps for Mac, Windows and iPhone, the web app and this website. Questions: support@oseyra.com.
The short version
Your companion runs on your own device. Your conversations, your companion's memories, the files and photos you show them, and your voice never come to us. We only receive what we need to sell you a license and keep it working.
What stays on your device
- Conversations and memories. Everything you say and type, your companion's memories, journal, moods and personality notes are stored on your computer or phone. You can see and delete them in the app (Memory), or erase everything in Settings.
- Your voice. Speech is turned into text on your device. Audio is not recorded or kept.
- Files and photos you show your companion, and any folders you let them open, are read on your device and never uploaded.
- Email, calendar and reminders, if you connect them. Your email password is kept in your device's secure keychain. Your companion reads these on your device; nothing is copied to us.
What we receive
- License and purchase details: your email address, your license key, your plan, and an anonymous identifier for each computer it's activated on (one plan covers two computers). We use these to deliver and check your license, send receipts, and help you with support.
- Payments are handled by our payment processor (such as Stripe). It receives your payment details under its own privacy policy; we never see your full card number. Purchases in the iPhone app are handled by Apple.
- Support emails you send us.
Using Oseyra on your phone (web app)
If you turn on phone access, messages between your phone and your computer pass through our relay server encrypted end to end. The relay only sees scrambled data, holds it for at most two minutes, and can't read it.
The live demo on this website
When you talk to Mira on oseyra.com, your speech and messages are sent to our demo servers to be answered, and are not saved after your session ends. When the demo is busy, a reply may be produced by a hosted AI provider, which processes the text only to answer it. To prevent abuse we keep your IP address for up to 24 hours to limit how often the demo can be used, and we may use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you're a person.
Downloads and updates
The apps download the AI models and voices they need from their publishers (such as Ollama and Hugging Face) and check oseyra.com for updates. Those services see your IP address when you download, as any website does.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your information, show ads, or use your conversations to train AI. We don't use tracking cookies on this website.
Children
Oseyra is for adults 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has bought a license, contact us and we'll delete their information.
Keeping and deleting your information
We keep license and purchase records for as long as your license is active and as required for tax and accounting. To ask for a copy of your information, or for us to delete it, email support@oseyra.com. Depending on where you live (for example California or the European Union), you may have further rights, and we'll honor them.
Security
License and payment data is stored on servers protected by encryption in transit and access controls. Because your conversations never reach us, a breach of our servers can't expose them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date below and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
